About

The winter school on theoretical physics "Kourovka" has been regularly held since 1961 at the Ural region. It was organized with the direct participation of Academician S.V. Vonsovsky. In 2026, the school will be held for the 41th time.

The organizers of the school are M.N. Miheev Institute of Metal Physics and Russian Quantum Center.

Series of lectures on topical problems of the condensed matter theory and of other topics in theoretical physics will be offered. Besides, the school participants will have an opportunity to contribute with oral presentations or by presenting their posters.
