Actual data
Dear friends!
On September 20, 2023, we are opening registration for the fortieth anniversary school-conference of theoretical physicists “Kourovka XL”, which will be held on February 2-9, 2024 at the Abzakovo Sports Complex.
Due to the fact that this time the conference is being held in a popular place for active winter recreation, the number of places is limited. Therefore, we kindly ask you to make your plans and register as soon as possible.
If on November 15, 2023 there are more applications than the number of participants we are able to accommodate, the Organizing Committee will be forced to select participants based on the review of their abstracts. The participation confirmation will be sent to each registered applicant by December 1, 2023. Payment of the registration fee will be accepted only after confirmation of your participation.
We are waiting for your applications to participate!

About
The winter school on theoretical physics "Kourovka" has been regularly held since 1961 at the Ural region. It was organized with the direct participation of Academician S.V. Vonsovsky. In 2024, the school will be held for the 40th time.
The organizers of the school are M.N. Miheev Institute of Metal Physics and Russian Quantum Center.
Series of lectures on topical problems of the condensed matter theory and of other topics in theoretical physics will be offered. Besides, the school participants will have an opportunity to contribute with oral presentations or by presenting their posters.
